Slope Protection

a hilly area is cut to construct highways. beside completing the roads, they work on the slopes as well. guniting, using geotextile materials, put retaining walls, etc. are the methods used to protect slopes. thus, the highway users ride under minimal risk.

another hilly area also undergoes the same project. but they don't treat the slopes. as the highways done, the slopes also done, and the users done as well.

the highways pictures development, the works represents the necessity towards development, the slopes respresents us, weather represents unsound elements and slope protection is our preparation to face elements due to development. we need highways, or at least a line of access, and we have to pay the price. to make journeys short, it's not suitable to build roads along the surface of the hills, unless the on the flat surface. thus, it will leave slopes.

i this life, those are the things we can't avoid. if we don't do, somebody else will do. thus, we have to be like a wild stream flow that able to push all intruders in the river, and don't be like a weak current, finally clog. we have to have our own armor that will protect us. the only armor is ISLAM. but how? is VOTING for ISLAM enough to make us a protected slope? is learning in ISLAMIC SCHOOL enough? is TALKING about ISLAM enough? is being a member of an ISLAMIC MOVEMENT enough? is saying I AM A MUSLIM enough?

a professional Muslim is those who waxed with responsibilities, aware about the menacing world that opposing the Deen, and specialist in their fields. some standards those have to be fulfilled by these guys, up to abilities and reality, not only imaginations and exaggerations are:

1. the true faith (iman) that is deep, implanted and grows conciously.

2. knowledge, and spirits of seeking knowledge without prejudice.

3. practice and apply dakwah material personally and projects it to the whole life.

4. learn and understand materials used by modern culture that give harm to Islam. know to adapt with the situation and society as well as opponent's strategies and experiences.

5. down-to-earth and aware to the reality.

6. dignified attitudes, such as patient, sincere, effort, brave, strong, etc.

7. cooperation.

if we look back, it's started in person and ended in multiples. whatever it takes, the most important step to have a true Islamic society is to train Muslims as a single. and it covers all, not only for those who studied in pondok or SAR or al-azhar, etc. it's us. even, to construct a good building, every material used is counted. and this is about to construct an ISLAMIC COUNTRY (as well as ISLAMIC CITY).

note that iman involves construction, not grown.
