dulu... kini...

i read an article in newspaper about a young-adult gurl [same like me]. she was still studying during the paper interview. reading her opinion and suggestion make myself grin and remind me to the time i was a student. and, at the end of the article, the writer [the article wrote by a journalist] stated, will this young generation be a better leader? hopefully [translated].

i can say the girl's opinion is very common as a university student, or as a youth. she comments on the country governance, the society, the youth, unity, etc. she'd rite for saying malaysian is no more pure malaysian. the spirit of malaysianity and country-loving is no more ardent. we lose our malaysian direction and go toward nowhere! she said about our directions toward life are no more taking nationality and unity as an essential. she also said that we should do something to save our country from any harm that is flying around us and just waiting to touch us [she did suggest something but i can't remember].

i have no comment on what she said but on the journalist i do. he made me come out with two perception. first, youngsters are potential NATO leaders. NATO is acronym for No Action Talk Only. they [read:we cos i'm a youngster too] act, but the action has changed nothing but pessimist ideas about youngsters and Muslim youths. they do demo, riot, rebel, etc. but nothing changed except they're jailed and others also got a bad name.

second, the writer didn't give a space in his heart to see these youngsters' potential. as can be seen in the apprentice, andy is the youngest in the team, and everybody sees him as a slack. but last episode [ep. 8] he proved that leadership is not about age.

why i am like this [like the two reason above]? because i am the fourth generation. my great grandparents, they worked hard to eject the outside elements in their country and their life. my grandparents worked hard to set up a new life. my parents accumulated the wealth and independentness that inheritaged by their parents. and me, i am breathing on my parents' wealth and live in comfort. there's no such suffer and we shouldn't suffer. our country is a developing country, rite! what we have here, they also have it in US.

that's why my [read:our] patriotict intelligent is still under average.
