lots of bombshell (ftn's feveret word) happened today. yesterday i got a call from my fren, nasha (not nasha aziz), calling me to become a judge for coloring competition for pre-school kids and asked me to find more judges. with no argument i agreed and send sms to some frens. so this morning, tijah, kaktie & i went to the school. nasha told me to take the posters for the competition from his mom. so i got her as soon as possible because i was thinking that it was promotion poster! but the poster was actually, the drawings. haiyya..
i thought our task would be the assistants to the organizer, but it made us curl knowing that we were the organizers! with no preparation, miscommunication, handicapping....etc. but it was very okay. but i felt quit all wrong to 'halau' the makciks from helping their kids cos most of them were my aunties, my neighbours, my relatives... phew~ but there were pre-school teachers helping and i felt much better.
i thought my bro could win but the couldn't. his artwork was too, cakar ayam. my cousins won. but it was a fair judgement cos we invite judges from outside as well, the teacher and school kids. huhu~
the event ended at 10.45, and we had to wait for food ration. we bought drinks and keropok, eating while reminiscing our memories during schooling with kaktie and utp updated stories with tijah. 11.30 the ration arrived and our task came again, distributing the meal for the comers.
the head organiser asked us to have our meal in VIP's room :)
he suddenly asked us to propose an activity for female in our area. woh-oh-ow! (ops, it was actually a program to launch rukun tetangga in my area. i did not know what event it was, until we selak the inaugurating board just after the distribution of the food :P) very bidan terjun betul la! i told kaktie "komplen sangat takde keje kan, ha skg dah dapat keje." jadi sukarelawan kampong plak la! :D
my fren, nasha reached as we finished our lunch, and i knew that he will get engaged next weekend. what la you.. said want to engaged together, now you engaged first! eheh~ his fiancee-gonna-be is my fren as well, ayu. we'd been fren since primary school, but they were turn into couple just about 2 years ago.
i went back home just before zuhur, called ayu and scold her for not telling me about the engagement, update my friendster, and... coma!
