s**********r

i wonder why everybody's keep on talking about that so-called the best company on Earth ever exists... the S***********. in her blog, in his blog, this topic is very common. i just don't understand why everybody tends to talk, to write about that big S, and they rather work with that S and paying debt than work with Pet if they get (correct me if i'm wrong). maybe because of the salary it offers, my fresh grad pals get RM4000++ per month in their very first time join that S. that's the salary if you work in home-country and if you work in foreign country, i heard the rumours that the payment will be in USD! if only i passed the second screening... i rather not waiting for Pet than being not more than a log down here (wahau!)

i am not telling that joining S and leaving Pet is good, or vice versa, but why S? why does everybody talk about S alone? why not Sh**l or other comps?

see, the very good reputation of that S, makes everybody build a dream to work with S. even though, the works is tough, not everybody can survive longer but almost all of us talk about those who get the offer maliciously. once, we heard about the chicken provided by a famous fast food restaurant, K*C is not permitted by Muslim law because the chicks are 'mati kene karan' but the restaurant grows everyday and many more branches established.

everything is about reputation, for me. i.e. if we wanna buy shampoo, will you buy shampoo cap harimau or the shampoo that shown on TV? even if much cheaper but i guess we tend to buy the-on-TV shampoo than buying shampoo cap harimau. i passed the interview that qualified me to work with government, but nobody including myself have an opened eye on that. the one who really appreciate it are those who work with government, my parents, my aunts, my uncles, and some friends of mine. of course being a goverment staff is the most unpopular thing in my U. even it didn't cross my mind until my senior asked "have you fill the SPA form? you should try". at first i just give it a 'main-main' mode. but then when thought about fortune, i aware that we are not the one who decides. we deserve to attempt but the succeed is not our right to choose. that's why i pursue the interview.

talking about reputation, recently i learn the true way to get it. it doesn't mean that we have to be arrogant and put ourselves above others just to keep our reputation as high as possible. as i learned from corporate communication course, reputation is a product of image and identity. if we have good image and identity, so does our reputation follows. for companies such as S and Pet, their image and identity is very good making everybody recognize them and wish to be their family members. and reputation of being a goverment staff is not that good, maybe. hm, maybe this can be consumed by my frens who are desperately seeking but still stay single. maybe your image and identity is not fair enough ;)
aha, just kidding!
