parents' meeting

yesterday i went to my lil' bro's tabika as a representative of my parents cos they were at work. i guess i was the only bachelor lady where most of 'em are makcik2 and kakak2 with babies. there were about 17 ladies (including me) and 2 gentlemen. the meeting was actually to conduct a dialog session between the tabika's management and parents, but i think i was no more than a lecture. haha! i was talking with my makciks while the speaker was talking in front.

the chairman said (in kelantanese of course)"selamak petey ibu-ibu (waduh, kok udah jadi ibu ya) dey bapak, disebabkey bapak ado soghe jah mako tokleh la sebut bapak-bapak, sebut bapak jahla". huhu. the 2 gentlemen including the chairman himself upenye. he talked about the importance of tabika for kids. maklumlah, kampong kids, not everybody eager to learn.

after that, the puan penyelia took the charge. the topic did not interest me. then, they opened for those parents to say anything. the only gentleman spoke his suggestion. his suggested on payment receipt and timetable. i had something in my mind actually, but what a stupid, i just can't translate it into my mother tounge! while i was struggling seeking idea to convert from english-malay-kelantanese (very complex), the chairman was already close the ceremony by reciting suratul asr. huhu~

what can i say... kampong moms are usually aware what's wrong but they are quite shy to speak out at the right place. when i sat with them, i heard a lot of complaint but when they were asked to say so they didn't. but they are very good, they concern on their kids education and they follow their kids' progress. longlive kampong moms! i'm gonnabe a kampong mom too. er.. sooner or later~
